How long will Microsoft support Surface Pro 4?

Surface Pro 4 received driver and firmware support until October 12, 2021; Windows updates continue as long as hardware requirements are met.

Microsoft Surface driver and firmware updates run for at least four years from a device’s launch date. The Surface Pro 4 launched on October 26, 2015 and its driver and firmware servicing concluded on November 13, 2021.

After the end of servicing date, Surface Pro 4 units continue to receive Windows OS feature and security updates under the Windows Lifecycle Policy, so long as they meet hardware requirements for new Windows versions.
