

The Surface Pro 4 debuted on October 26, 2015 starting at $899, featuring a slimmer design, a bigger 12.3″ PixelSense screen, advanced Pen support and Windows Hello.
Microsoft’s fourth-generation Surface Pro launched on October 26, 2015 in the U.S. and Canada for a starting price of $899. That entry-level configuration included an Intel Core m3-6Y30 processor, 4 GB of 1866 MHz LPDDR3 RAM and a 128 GB SSD.
This model introduced a thinner (8.45 mm), lighter (766 g) chassis along with a larger 12.3-inch PixelSense display (2736×1824) driven by the Microsoft G5 chipset. It added support for the updated Surface Pen with 1,024 levels of pressure sensitivity and built-in Windows Hello facial recognition via an infrared camera.
