Microsoft’s third-generation Surface Pro debuted on June 20, 2014 at Microsoft’s New York City event. The entry-level Core i3-4020Y model started at $799, with 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM and a 64 GB SSD. It introduced a larger 12″ ClearType display in a 3:2 aspect ratio, a thinner platinum-magnesium chassis and a full-friction multi-position kickstand.
