

Microsoft will provide full driver and firmware support for the Surface Pro 7 until October 30, 2025. After that date, the device still receives Windows OS features and security updates as long as it meets future hardware requirements. In rare cases of critical security flaws, Microsoft may issue extra firmware patches even after the end of servicing.
Since its release on October 22, 2019, Microsoft guarantees at least four years of driver and firmware updates for every Surface device, including the Pro 7. According to official lifecycle documentation, Surface Pro 7 will reach its end of driver and firmware servicing on October 30, 2025.
